It was only a matter of time. All we can do is mute them, right?

I was floored when nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a followed me. But alas t’was a fake. 🥲

nostr:npub12ttulypfzxr0usjzcg848l43apqc0m06hyju9ccwsqktqjsszj0s3tlk24 You can also report them which is right by the more option (in Primal at least). Already had to do it to two people. Interesting to see who they select as being popular. Sad they stoop to these tricks instead of producing positive content on their own.

Not sure popularity is a good metric for copycatting. Search Olive Grove Eggs, there's more than one. There's probably a bot setting up alternates of every new account

This is one reason why follower counts have some importance. About the quickest way to differentiate fake accounts. But that may change too.

Apparently Michael Saylor liked one of my notes about this very topic of follower counts hence why I feel I can mention it to a person of your standing!

Oh, that's a fake Mike. Blast.
