I'm not sure what you are referring to as a PDU? The thing that provides DC power to the cards on the miner? Shouldn't they have already come with the unit? If not, then, yes. You'll need that and an appliance cord that you'll need to connect to the PDU, and you might need to add ring terminals depending on the connection type at the unit. You'll also need an ether net cable to run to your router. These much prefer to be hard wired to the router than trying things like a wireless adapter.

Im fine with all the technical requirements aside from the electrical.
PDU = Power Distribution Unit, looks like a power bar with multiple plugs on but for asic miners. I thought I need that for an asic miner with two AC connectors, then the PDU wires into the 40amp 240 breaker if im not mistaken.
all my machines are ethernet, i hate wifi, im quite adept with Linux and networking. Unfortunately, electrical is a Chinese village for me!

I've never seen anything like that before. That looks pretty terrible, too be honest. Lol! I'd need to dig into that a bit, but, that kinda looks a big sketchy.
