Speculation is that the German automaker acted on EU orders. Porsche isn’t denying it.

Yeah, this is bad for their brand. You can't know when your country will be next on Germany's shitlist. It's also almost certainly something that will get hacked around, leaving these people only temporarily screwed.

Having said that, this feature is in a huge % of new cars thanks to the EU
