How is it any more random than Google Play or the Apple Store if it comes directly from the developer?
The initial link was to zapstore, which I've never heard of or used. A direct link to the wavlake apk on github is more comfortable for me and is what I ended up installing.
Ah. Zap.store is relatively well known in the space at this point, but wasn't to me until recently. I think the idea is to Nostrfy things like Google Play, but I haven't had much time to study it.
