here is what they did in short:

it cannot be used with bluewallet any more. rejects any transaction

it cannot be used with qr from any other wallet

they hold back about 5% not 1%. they lied about it.

using a lightning address to send 50% worked

you need to leave about 5% there so they can charge you 20-50% in fees when you finally send the remaining 5%. but you can only send 95% of 5% and they will charge you horrendous fees. they also lied about the fees.

do not use alby.

now i need an easier way to switch from nip05 alby to another one keeping the profile

there must be an issue, because all that is not true.

+ you can use it with bluewallet - we worked hard to make it possible to continue to use BlueWallet also with the self-sovereign Alby Hub and any NWC based wallet

+ what means "it cannot be used with qr" ? you can not scan a QR code which QR code - with which wallet?

+ there is a free reserve (like any wallet does it) sadly this is because it is still hard/impossible to know the exact ln fees before the payment. if you want to close the account you can drain it in a few steps and we also send the last sat to you.

so it seems you have some misunderstanding and issue that we're happy to help solving.
