Put in an offer on a house last week.

Seller just got back to the estate agent basically saying they want a higher offer.

I told them my offer is my final price and I am currently viewing other properties in the same area with more space that are up for only a slightly higher list price and have been on the market for months, this is a buyer's market and I am not increasing my offer.

Agent said they will relay this back to the seller and get back to me soon.

Meanwhile I am booking viewings of those larger properties that are listed at only £10k more and have been on the market for months - in which time the interest rate has only increased - very soft market.
