There is a reason why I have just run raw dog LND for all my nodes the last 5 years. Never any node packagers on top.

There are a lot of moving parts with these node packages in tandem with the underlying node implementations which is hard to get right. One thing moves, another thing breaks, down the line.

Raw dog is not for everyone and lots of drawbacks too, but at least when something goes wrong I usually know where to look to fix it.

Yeah I forgot to mention I was running LND on Start9. It’s hard to pinpoint the issue whenever things went wrong. I like that I have more control when running Alby Hub on Linux at least, but I can see the advantage of running without any packager on top.
