Since the first time I’m in bitcoin I’m actually worried and feel my confidence in it shacking.

Seeing how the “2 factions” are constantly making fun of the other and calling each other retard, so little real engagement and debate going on, no one single avenue where to channel the whole discussion. Good god is this how bitcoin has always been at handling disagreements? I guess I had the wrong expectations, thinking that bitcoiners where more mature and intelligent than this

I feel the same. I got in just after the blocksize wars.. I can now see why they were called that.

Finding the signal in all the noise is becoming increasingly difficult.

Life is life...

This is nothing. Craig wright actually brought lawsuits over the blocksize wars.

Everything will be ok.

I hope so man, just trying not to fall into apathy and think btc as already won

you mean episode May 6th (Shinobi) and episode May 14th (Mechanic) ? Or do you mean another episode where both parties were present at the same time?

The only two sources i found where both parties were present are these 2:

1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbQvU-woY14

2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-eUUC8Idaw

Yes I meant those two ep, I think it’s clearer signal when each party presents their views independently, you can construct counter arguments from it yourself. Debates encourage strawmaning and bad faith arguments imo
