The fucking irony of the author having worked at Playboy…

I am not opposed to pornography existing, but it’s so, so much more prevalent on today’s Internet and it’s no surprise that young men would rather just chill at home doing whatever and then get their rocks off to whatever suits their fancy as it’s low effort. It requires almost nothing.

No chatting up, no meeting, no fear of rejection, no dating.

Add to that the fact that dating sites juice up their female numbers with bots because men wouldn’t pay for a deadass service, the apparent political divide of gen z men and women, the “rebellion” of some women (I have no idea how prevalent it is though) in regards to how things have turned out in the US for them, and it’s really no surprise at all.

Sounds like now is probably among the worst times in modern history to be on the dating scene.
