New developers might not want to read a bunch of decontextualized docs and would rather read real-life code.

👇

I added a list of open source projects that are using NDK for real things, in the hopes that it will help newcomers find a codebase that looks similar to what they are aiming for and which might serve as a good guideline

https://github.com/nostr-dev-kit/ndk/blob/master/REFERENCES.md

I searched on Github (github.com/search?q=%40nostr-dev-kit%2Fndk&type=code) and found a bunch more but I'm way too lazy to add them all

If you're using NDK on an open source project and want to serve as guidelines for new developers coming to the space, send a PR!

Thank you

When deciding on unoficia Kind numbers (like 9802) did you just start using them, did you check to see if other projects are not using them, or any other ideas? 😂

that's exactly what I do

sometimes there's a number I like, like for NIP-89 I wanted something related to the berlin wall so I went with 31989

for highlighter I just used a random number and checked on multiple relays that no one was really using it

Gotchya, thanks that makes a lot of sense 😎
