Indeed. But wouldnt that meaningfully disrupt development and collaboration for all these ongoing and critical #Bitcoin and #Nostr related projects until a new more private platform is stood up?
developers are in frontline of this privacity war ... they already know that this projects may become unwanted in some point ... they probably have a B plan ... i know that they have alternatives to github like (gitlab, bitbucket, gitea, source forge) ... or can simple make git work direct to TOR network and host the code with onionshare. at first time will be headache, but will be overcome.
