I see, you believe it should only be a matter of consequences. So what if the person who got scammed can no longer pay for the operation that he needed, and dies a month later?

You already have the answer to that, but the person that got scammed had the chance to say the word "no" before getting scammed. Now the scammed pays the price for not saying no also.

You also have the chance to say "no" to poisoned food, but the point is that you don't know it's poisoned until it's too late.
