You are probably right.
The thing I dislike most about Nostr is this cycle:
1) Nostr developer creates something flashy
2) Everyone on Nostr celebrates. This will bring in more users from other platforms they say
3) Development on the new thing rapidly slows down
4) The new thing is left broken and forgotten
5) goto 1
This may only be my perception. I simply don't want to invest the time to try out the new thing which might quickly become the forgotten thing.
Been this way for the 3yrs I've been here...
Nothing that's actually groundbreaking for nostr or those not on nostr has been done since nostr was created.

I think that’s what I like best… not only are you on a tiny, niche online community, but by having so many clients etc, even within that tiny niche online community, you can be part of even tinier niche communities.
Soon, thanks to vibe coding, everyone will have their own clients and it’ll all break and I’ll have the internet all to myself. Win!
