One part parent, one part social engineer. My daughter is almost 3 so I can totally sympathize. It’s a fun process especially when you see they’ve learned.

As with most things, credit goes to my wife. She’s remarkable at skipping over *wanting* him to be more rationale (my repeated mistake) and asking just the right question to involve him in decision-making, even at 16 months old. It’s amazing to see.
