I downloaded but not used yet. I’ve not heard any feedback from anyone.
BitKit is doing a very interesting (and good!) job with their mobile Lightning wallet (node-in-a-phone style).
One fun component is customizable widgets, which (I just learned) includes a news tool that plugs into Nostr! Or at least into Stacker News (which is at least nostr-connected, though I don’t believe it’s nostr-native). Here’s the post:

Anyway, our homie nostr:npub1mgvmt553uphdpxa9gk79xejq3hyzh2xfa8uh6vh236nq78mvh74q8tr9yd is referenced in a SN post that just popped up in my wallet. Very cool/weird/fun 🫂🤙
Also… is BitKit on nostr? I’d be curious to know what the news widget based its selections on.

BitKit’s layout/wording is a little different from other mobile Lightning node setups. “Savings vs spending” balances (ie sats on-chain or in channels), for example, and “transfer balance” from one to the other, rather than “open a channel with this LSP”.
This seems like a promising way to onboard newer users to Lightning by using familiar concepts; I’m a fan in that regard.
It also has plenty of advanced features/settings, some of which go beyond my technical know how. But includes things like coin control, Bitcoin address types, channel (“connection”) view/management, electrum server selection, and a new(?) type of contact address/static code feature.
It’s based on slashtags which I know basically nothing about; perhaps it’s more interoperable than an “in-app only” Venmo user QR code, but just not widely adopted. I can’t pay the slashtag address from nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm for or Phoenix, for example.
Anyway, it’s a pretty cool project and fun play with.
I’ve been trying to open a channel to this BitKit wallet/node from my Alby Hub, though, with no luck yet. That would feel like a huge success lol
