All it does is show your nostr wallet connect balance. You have to connect a wallet to see it. The sidebar view is supposed to be optional but I’m not sure if that’s been coded yet. It’s intended to be a toggle in settings to see your balance.

Clients never access your wallet. That’s not how NWC works.
