Philadelphia? They have done this. I simply tune out public radio during their fundraisers. I love classical music and they are the only terrestrial station that plays it in my car. It grates my ears to no end when they beg for money! They get subsidized heavily by the state/federal government. If their programming was so good they would not have to beg. Just ask at the top and bottom of every hour thirty seconds max and be done with it.

One day I’ll drive a decent car and get satellite radio and be done with it.
