Some of us recognize and understand at a young age that our most prescious asset in life is time.

While I've heard it all the time from the OGs as a youngerster. It didn't really sink in for me until I was 40 and had 3 HS friends (dlsame age) pass in one year within a few months of each other. One of them having left behind a wife with young children.

If you're under 30 and seeing this note. Save it and re-read it frequently. Don't waste it on things that aren't improving your life, be it in the short or long term.

In retrospect, my savings grace was that I became a parent in my early 20's. Had it not been that, there would have been a lot more wasted time.
