Any tactics you use? I try to avoid evangelizing and figure when someone is ready, they will ask for help.

I think there are many stages of understanding which come in waves.
Some time is always needed because no one can go through all of these stages in one day.
And often it is about finding the right piece of the puzzle. Each one of us misses a different piece.
