Run one myself. I run an Umbrel bitcoin node with 1TB hard drive. Can I use the same? How long will it take to fill up? So the main incentive is to own your own data? Sounds good. Am I missing anything?

Yes you can set up a relay with umbrel. Have no idea how it might take to fill up - depends on how much data you have I guess. I believe there’s some tools that allow you to rebroadcast all your events to a particular relay. And yes the main incentive to running your own private relay would be to own your data. On top of that you could use it to communicate privately with your friends (if setup right)
