Kids can't consent to tattoos, and they certainly can't consent to mutilation.

In either of those cases, an adult is making the decision for them.

This is ignorant though. Because they do know. The adults I know who have transitioned all knew by age 5. They knew they should be the mom, not the dad, when playing house (or the other way around).

They maybe didn't have the words, but they knew.
