I had it in a hanging pot. 🤷🏻♂️

Spoken like someone who has never planted baby's tears in a location where it has room to spread.
Incorrect. Though it needs room to spread, my little plantlings died when I travelled abroad& left it with a babysitter who didn’t keep the room moist - no hard feelings there.
I chose BTC lol
