Just compile the Rust project.

yeah, I saw that option, just was hoping for an easier solution

I think it's two commands to both install rust and compile a release 🙂

But yeah, if there is an amd64 .deb, why not an x86?

maybe. but compare - clone repository and run build-appimage.sh. thats it

you can use https://github.com/mikedilger/gossip/blob/master/packaging/appimage/build-appimage.sh to build an appimage
