Yea I don't think blindly trusting anyone is a good idea. Thus I said "don't trust, verify!"

I guess I met enough regular people who were running for local offices so I don't think a non-politician running is considered a politician. But ironically, I do disagree their approach of thinking politics is what's going to fix what needs to be fixed.

Yes, what one does to back up their stance is more important and candidates are known for making empty promises, but personally, I don't see Bitcoin is just an issue for his campaign. What he stood for and worked in is aligned with him arriving at Bitcoin.
