So what's the deal with this Replyguy thing? I had assumed it was some developer's experiment, since it has a ".dev" in the name - I know, not a great assumption. But it has expanded its attacks, and now copies replies to notes too. I'm annoyed enough to finally ask... Who/what/where/why? Etc.

Spam attack. Some say its to expose nostr vulnerabilities in the hopes someone will find a solution. But no matter how you spin it, it's mildly annoying and probably driving away new users

I always block and mark as spam but they use different Npubs everytime. So, likely unstoppable unless you silo yourself with only your web of trust and never look outside of it.
