Imo you should just get an allocation in % terms that's comfortable for the current knowledge you have about bitcoin.

If no knowledge at all. Then 1% is the minimum allocation just because it looks like it's catching on.

After that you should continue to work and provide value to people earning in whatever currency you can get paid on, and dca a % of your income into bitcoin that won't hinder your expenses every month.

All the while you should keep learning about it. the more you learn you can decide to change your allocation to 5%, 10%, 50%, 100% or 0%

I’m already fairly deep down the rabbit hole and have a significant amount of my net worth in bitcoin. I have a newly acquired lump sum and I was asking the crowd whether I should just buy or DCA. Looks like I should’ve just bought… I was waiting until I got home to buy with the Kraken api using a script I have rather than use the app ( much lower fees this way). I’ve missed some gains.. ah well
