Always first you must be reasonable, because assuming irrationality is no way to change minds
But once it has been proven through sufficient kind reasoning and conversation that one is dealing with someone irrational and unreasonable, they may have fun staying poor.
The problem is that a lot of people lose their patience over time.
They start reasonable but as time goes on, with every additional person they lose it just a bit more.
