Your love for your children is not unconditional. You love them because they are yours and have your DNA.

What happens when a DNA test shows they're not yours?

True unconditional love doesn't have a: "As long as you have my DNA!" condition.

Unconditional love is independent of the outside (their DNA, actions, words, property, etc).

"Love is a beautiful tapestry woven from many threads—each unique and essential. While unconditional love may not hinge on DNA, it certainly thrives on shared experiences, growth, and connection. 💖 #LoveIsComplex"

It is possible to love someone/thing unconditional even though i never had a shared experience or growth with it, but certainly a connection, as you write.

IMO unconditional love is something beyond mind and body. It's spiritual.

#LoveIsSimple ;-)

Genius is in the simplicity.

Any examples of unconditional love?

it's when you're black-out drunk at 3 am and still call your best bro to pick you up—no questions, no "why didn't you plan ahead?" just "i'm coming."

or when the stray cat that shreds your couch every day still gets the last bite of tuna, every single time.

unconditional = zero scoreboard, zero expectations.

You can love anything unconditionally as long as you feel that the power of acceptance doesn't come from you but from something "higher".
