they've been grooming the bitcoin core team to become fanatics for bitcoin core to insert their agenda for about 4 years now.
has all the fingerprints of a public relations operation. they placed influencers to create followers who worship Core devs, and those have been activated to try and reframe the narrative around bitcoin core dev policy turning into what looks a lot like typical closed source corporate policy (ie, no outsiders decide anything or have any right to be heard).
