IOS replacements? (not jailbreaking)

Is there anything to us instead of iOS? No clue where to even start, i.e like tails…bootable over or just full new install of better OS. Please just advise or correct me thx!

Tails is not meant for daily usage as it forgets everything after each use.

If you are coming from iOS, any linux distro will be a step up. I heard PopOS is good for beginners.
