Here's the thing. (op this isn't about you)

Background: My husband and I have bought Canadian products for years, almost 30 years now. As much as possible as local as possible. We have said to people that if we all do that then the price of Canadian products will be lower. We have said to people to support Canadian businesses. People laughed, said rude things... blah blah. We kept on buying local and Canadian.

Now we have people (losers IMO) evangelizing 'Buy Canadian' who are the same people who shat on us for paying more for Canadian products while they only cared about price and sent their money down to the US.

Hey nostr:npub16jad3sjdf0hynxhmpzpsuuwazqlxrcq824kjpw3w7wr8ldt3xm0q0zq4nn thanks for sharing your thoughts. Your sentiment is relatable. My family prioritizes supporting local butchers and farmers markets but admittedly we can always do better.

This cuts deeper, in the sense that I am trying to decouple from American media as well. Hence I am here with you on #nostr :)

Cheers friend
