working on 2 projects - one with kids and one with adults - both hinges on their capacity in building, problem solving. Both are given tools and access to information, but for some reason kids are more enthusiastic on figuring things out, and faster too. Which makes me wonder, do most people lose the enthusiasm of curiosity as we grow older? Do standard education system mold kids into thinking less and obeying more? How ok are we for kids to question religion, history, science, politics and everything else that we may believe strongly in? How does tech play a role in expanding or reducing the effort in search of knowledge - Pre google, there were libraries, post google, there is AI. Both of my projects are not related to each other but there lies so many problems with one compared to the other, only because there is so little effort and initiatives in finding good solutions.

Kids are not burdened with the hardships of life and the mundane nature of everyday day existence. Step outside to see the hoards of zombies, slugging their way through life, wondering what’s next. No motivation, no prospects, little hope. It’s no wonder there’s little enthusiasm to get anything accomplished.
Kids minds are fresh, eager, ready to absorb. Everything is new and interesting. Until that is we throw them into schools. Then they too turn into zombies. I see them slugging home, wondering what it is they got themselves into.
