I wouldn’t mind if the human rights in my country were destroyed in case the number of murders were decreased by more that 90%. That’s thousands of lives saved per year. And people or no longer afraid to walk their dog in ES.
So, if you know another way to reach that result in a violent country like ES, tell it.

I don't worship him nor his policies. But I do think his policies on crime is the best obtainable in that country in the situation it was.
The world is very imperfect, especially in the most dangerous countries in the world.
So to criticise his policies without presenting an alternative approach that would stop the killing AND adhere to abstract human rights in a country like ES, bears no value to me.
If each gang member was prosecuted individually, with 3 levels of court procedure, that would have taken years, failed, and the gang members would have increased their street violence and murdered judges, lawyers etc.
For now, each year about 5000 innocent families are happy that not a family member is killed. You want to take that improvement away?
