Parrots are some of the smartest and most loving creatures.

I had two of them in my teens for years (yes, in my trailer, which wasn’t the best idea on my father’s part) and miss them to today.

Putting some analog pictures of them into digital form for the first time.

And tortoises!

I had three budgies also in my teens, blue, yellow and green. One was eaten by our cat , we took her later on, she was a street cat and didn't see the difference between the wild doves and budgies. Second flew away when we had been cleaning the cage and never came back. and third one had lived the longest, but he figured out how to open the cage by himself , he was the smartest. So one day he escaped the cage, flew to the kitchen and was strolling on the floor , my grandmother didn't see him and accidently stepped on him. We tried to reanimate him, even gave him mouth-to-mouth artificial redpiration , but he died. We cried. And decided to not have parrots anymore . I love parrots , they look so excuisite but actually when you pet them you feel how fragile they are , all birds , they are very fragile and they bond emotionally with their owners. you cant have them with another animals unfortunately.
