Taxes taxes taxes... Yet I can't even get a family doctor, and I'm lucky to get a walk-in appointment if I'm sick.

Because of tax withholding by corporations. At least that’s why in most of the world.

People don’t choose to pay taxes - companies choose to pay them on the behalf of people so the company doesn’t get audited out the arse and waste money fighting the state.
