when a government buys bitcoin, it is doing so with the the money that they either debased without your permission or with the money that was conscripted via taxes

DOES PRINTING TO BUY BITCOIN STRENGTHEN THE DOLLAR? IT THEN BECOMES A POSSIBILITY THAT THEY MAY SELL IT FOR DOLLARS.

if it strengthens the dollar then it doesn't make sense to sell unless you want to weaken the dollar.

oh well. eventually they will figure it out.

What if they sell to pay debt?

then they "pay off the debt" otherwise they just keep accumulating debt and show a positive "balance sheet" that one day "could pay off debt"

It's the potential to burn dollars when they pay off debt on the sale.
