That's NOT a rush to act, that's a valid concern for these same countries' self-soverignty.

People that just shrug should check their financial privilege.

Same person sometimes does not have home internet and in some extreme cases no electricity at home so running a node is not possible under any circumstances until their base economic conditions improve.

Absolutely. 🤝

My hope is we can get extended families or individual communities to have a node.

Any protection against they government blocking access is better than none.

Keeping technical requirements low to do so always helps too. Less bloat is better.

I'm encouraged by mobile phone nodes, text/SMS , and satellite options too. Innovation in/for these places is amazing.
