Remember, anxiety is not just a mental experience but also a physical one.

When you're anxious, your body releases stress hormones like adrenaline. This can lead to symptoms like a racing heart, sweating, and even digestive issues.

Anxiety is a normal and natural signal in your body but can sometimes misfire or overfire.

Ground yourself by focusing on your senses—name five things you can see, four you can touch, three you can hear, two you can smell, and one you can taste.

This simple exercise can help bring you back to the present moment and ease anxiety.

Remember, you’re not alone, and it’s okay to seek support!

If you're struggling to manage the anxiety in your life, I provide free counseling consultations and reasonably priced regular online counseling services. Lightning payments.

Yes, a lot of people think anxiety is just in your mind and you can just wave it away.

Yes.

I hate how, in our society, something being in our mind is considered a pejorative.

Our entire worldly experience is filtered through our mind. So in that way everything that we experience is only in our mind.

That doesn't mean what's happening up there isn't having real physiological consequences on our body and our daily functioning.

There are, of course, things that we can do to mitigate and work through anxiety just like any other pain or illness but the fact the anxiety exists in the biochemistry of our brain does not make it any less real.

Yeah most people don’t understand cause no one can be in your head.
