kde neon is windows like too, more features and graphic capabilities, much nicer than windows out of the box, but it is not stable

Yeah KDE is much more customizable. It's great if you're a UI control freak and want to tweak everything just right. I had fun playing around with it for a while a few years back. There used to be some great Arch distros but some of them have been abandoned in the past few years. I can't upgrade to Windows 11 on this badass PC I built 3 years ago because apparently this ASUS motherboard doesn't have a TPM, so I'll be going back to Linux soon. I'm going to give Qubes OS a try because I want to see how it's evolved since I used it back in 2018. Qubes is amazing if you have a machine with a lot of CPU threads and RAM. It runs all these virtual machines. Very strong security.

Any thoughts on EndeavourOS?

Unaware of it. I've been using Windows 10 with Ubuntu running inside of it for the past 3 years.

Have you used Antergos? I hear is a fork from Antergos after it was discontinued

i have used antergos, loved it, easy to use, kept my computer cool

too bad it was ended

Yeah me too then I moved to Manjaro and never looked back but I constantly think about trying EndeavourOS

i did not like manjaro

moved back to kde neon

many crashes, even umbrel crashed it and "lost" my funds

then i worked with debian for a while

but it is even hard to use for linus thorwald he said once. you always fix problems, add keys etc. sometimes it takes days

also tried fedora many times. loved it, very easy to use but also not stable.

now i keep it simple and also use mint on the linux pc

deb has almost unlimited software options meanwhile

more than rpm and arch is seriously lagging

I just can’t stand Debian based distros. Manjaro base looks fine to me but certainly arch base with kde 5 has been rock solid in some of my low end machines for many many many years.

I always use Debian or Ubuntu on servers.

Yeah me too and I think that is the reason I can’t stand. I constantly need to work with them and I like my packages bleeding to the edges πŸ˜…

I loved Antergos. It was my main OS for a while.

You just try EndervousOS then my good sir

Must

I think every single one that likes arch is because of Antergos, it was simply amazing

why do you still use windows? it spies on you, not as bad as apple or google but bad enough..

try it out on a live usb. risk free.
