learning nuance is impossible without foundational knowledge. context is learned, through experience, exposure, and freedom to explore. curiosity is built when inspiration is provided, like a snack tray to toddlers. asking for someone to form an opinion without ensuring a solid baseline of basic knowledge first is how propaganda spreads. opinion is developed through extensive information gathering and sorting, and the categories into which a mind uniquely manages details are the index of personal perspectives (opinion). as new information is learned: opinions change. providing random content means nothing without comprehension of shared experience, and memory of shared context; unachievable without mutual effort from guide and learner.
