Unlike every client yeah they're all buggy as fuck and they lag
I'm on .social, that suppose to be a flagship but even the simplest hashtag search ends up nowhere.

Dam. Hmm I wonder if there is a better fedi app. The app called fedi is the best and fastest at search fedilab lags like a mother fucker. Moshidon works good to I think also misskey. Idk, there's a lot of fediverse apps have you tried avalanche?
