I’ll die on the hill of the biggest economic decisions any individual can make are their trade offs between their present self and their future self.

Who they marry.

What college, degree and the associated student loans.

On the topic of marriage do you think the cons far outweigh the pros with divorce rates being high?

Definitely not. But you have to be on the same page as your spouse in all the fundamental world view and cultural questions. Divorce cannot be a word in your vocabulary going in or at any point.

But in reality how likely is that? We’re all human and each of our perspectives are unique. Due to that you’ll never truly be on same page as someone else in world view. You’d really only be able to compromise and simply choose to be with someone through your differences.
