When I was a child it didn’t matter what my place in the world was. As a kid I was trying to figure out how I fit into the world. As a young man I fought for my place.

I am now middle age and I accept that I don’t fit where I once thought and fought…and I am OK with that…because it never mattered in the first place.

Growing up I rejected the social norms by a gut feeling at first. School was not a place where I felt at home. I would rather spend time in the woods, climbing rocks, reading, drawing, writing, programming or gaming. I learned early on that I was never going to be happy among the normies and went full steam ahead on my own path. What matters over time is balance, truth and integrity. These are found in crafting our own path and staying true to our values. The liberty compass is the best guidance.
