I predict Netanyahu will be ousted very soon. The writing has been on the wall the moment they invaded. Play US puppet and get burned. This has been the historical trend - US leaves a wave of destruction in all that it touches. Under Trump it’s especially the case since he has zero clue on foreign policy. He turns friends into dazed and alienated states all for a quick short term win. No long term strategic thinking.
Europe knows they have no options left since it’s unpopular to support a genocide considering parts of Europe itself experienced this horror in WWII. They also know US doesn’t have its back, even if publicly they appear to seek cooperation.
It would not surprise me if in the long term Europe aligns with Russia and China. Many places are already clamping down on speech and privacy, they are hell bent on passing chat control and god knows what else that will follow. Easier to control your population during the great trust crisis.
US has no choice but to stop selfish behavior by Trump and family and start creating more solid alliances in the east. Alienating Japan would be the biggest blunder imaginable and both nations know it.
