What many fail to understand is that it won't be just particular configurations of liberalism that will fracture, splinter and fragment - much will have to perish to move forward to what comes next, including things we may hold dear now - that's just how it goes.

If you think status quo technocratic managerial liberalism is the only thing being stress tested right now then you aren't paying attention to what's happening out there

Little probably of what we recognize today in terms of political economy, social, political arrangements and so on - the things we take for granted will make it out alive. Trying to put a band aid over these failures makes us much worse than Fukuyaman technocrats
