Venerable Anthony of Iezeru, a hermit known for his deep prayer life, once encountered a group of bandits. Instead of fearing for his life, he offered them hospitality, feeding them and speaking to them about the love of God. Moved by his kindness, the bandits repented and abandoned their wicked ways, turning to a life of faith and good works.

Venerable Anthony, pray for us, that we too may show mercy and love to all, and that God may transform our hearts.
