I want to believe this but I don't see this playing out much in this fallen world. It seems turning the other cheek just gets people placed in worse and worse situations. I don't want me or the people I care about to be martyrs. Civilizations were built and protected by people doing a whole lot of fighting. #hope

Believe me, 20 yrs as a infantry soldier, with multible combat tours, I know what it means to defend others and people you care about, this passivity Jesus talks about is one of the hardest of his commands, I will wrestle with it for some time to come. My end goal is to serve the Will of God and Obey His Commands, through His Gracy and Mercy
