I still have to deal with email at work. And a huge portion of it is automated announcements if operational events in my application. Between that and a lot of users, I have to deal with 2000+ emails per day.

The only way I've found to make sure I don't miss important things is:

1) email filters

2) inbox zero

Open to suggestions on how others keep their sanity in email.
