As he is a narcissist, Trump definitely doesn't have any real empathy. The empathy he appeared to display for Theo Von would have been a learned behaviour utilised in that instance to gain people's approval for his presidential campaign. And this is why I'm very sceptical of Trump's real motivations. I fully, fully agree with you Peter, that the West keeps getting mediocre government after government who are slowing leading us all in to debt and decline and because of this I'm not surprised Trump has risen to the top as he has promised the most radical change. I just know in my heart of hearts, a narcissist ultimately only ever looks after themselves.
