Trapping them in a car is genius!

One of the things boys struggle with in school is literally sitting in a chair for too long. They need to expend their energy.

Consider rest stops as an opportunity to get some of that energy out. Get them to do sprints, push ups, burpees (or whatever you can invent in the moment).

You'll find them to be much calmer & less stressed afterwards.
